Athens International Bible Institute (AIBI) is an affiliate school of Sunset International Bible Institute (SIBI).
Consistent with the overall goals for Christ, AIBI is partnered with SIBI to deliver quality Biblical instruction, ministry training and mentors of the servant attitude of Christ to students from every continent on earth.
With God’s blessings through the generous support of Christian individuals and congregations around the world, AIBI hopes to accomplish our mutual objectives here in Athens, Greece.

AIBI has the flexibility to meet each opportunity at its point of need. We can tailor a program to help take a student from no Bible education to becoming a Bachelor creditable Bible-centered servant and leader for the cause of Christ.
You are taught by a highly qualified faculty in an effort to produce capable spokesmen with a spirit for evangelism and church planting in their own homeland.

As an Associate School, we agree to meet the standards for preacher training proposed by Sunset and adopt a comparable preacher training curriculum as the one used in the Sunset residential program in Lubbock, TX (USA).
From its side, SIBI fully recognizes the training program of AIBI, and issues the Bachelor Degrees of Biblical Studies for AIBI’s graduates. AIBI is fully responsible in administering and funding our school in Athens.

The school has been in existence since 1997, starting with a humble status and growing daily till the today’s state with 63 active students, 90 graduates from 19 nations serving in over 30 congregations.
This is the result of hard work of men and women dedicated to God who served and continue to serve in AIBI such as, Jim & Nell Stamatis, Steve & Deborah Stamatis, Darrell & Robin Wallace, Ron & Diane Kretz, Beni & Sonila Leka, Victor Akande, Peter and Peace Ozah, Doug Reeves, Bill & Rebecca Day and many many other visiting instructors.

Our school uses the facilities of Evrou Church of Christ in Athens since 2001, and we have been blessed by a magnificent cooperation with Evrou congregation (where we continue to serve as missionaries from 1996), and other Churches of Christ around Athens.

AIBI is under the wonderful oversight and support of the Monahans Church of Christ in Texas (MCoC), and Crieve Hall Church of Christ in Nashville, Tennessee (CHCoC).
